Having understood the need for education, GET has been doing everything it can to ensure that a maximum number of students get a formal school education. As a part of this endeavour, GET has been helping school children from the financially weaker sections of the society.
For these children, GET pays the school fees for an academic year. It also helps by providing monetary support for students’ school uniforms & books. These children are identified and selected through references and referrals by school authorities.
GET, in association with MT Educare, also offers concessions to students through its NGO associations. Students associated with these NGOs are provided concession in the course fee when they take admission in Mahesh Tutorials.
Students from Aamcha Ghar and Aasara are provided 100% concession in course fee when they take admission to Mahesh Tutorials for standard 10. Students from Bal Kalyan Nagari and CC Home are taught at their shelters for the entire academic year by the MT faculty.
Over the past 7 years, more than 700 students have benefitted from this program. The table below gives an overview of the NGOs that have been associated with GET and the number of students that have benefitted over the years.
