GET is continuously striving towards getting a 100% result in the BMC Schools in the Std. 10 Board Exams. One more effort taken by GET & TATA Motors Ltd. is motivating students to do better and providing personal counselling to students who need it.

Personal Counselling

GET has  team of 8 dedicated counsellors who service the 140 BMC schools where students of Std. 9th & 10th are taught by GET's teachers. Teachers identify academically weak students and refer them to the counsellor. These counsellors speak to the students to try and find out the reason why these students are performing below average. The problems of these students could be academic (lack of conceptual understanding) or could be because of other factors like family problems, economic problems, lack of interest in studying, etc.

Once the problem is identified, these counsellors. along with the teachers, try to solve these students' problems in the best way possible.

This initiative has been implemented in all the schools across all mediums.

Motivational Lectures

The staff of GET & TATA Motors have been conducting motivational lectures for the students of BMC schools to inspire them to perform better academically. In the course of these lectures, feedback is taken from the students about the teaching programme. Students are asked if they have any problems that they would like to discuss and then they are provided with the possible solutions to their problems. In case any special case is identified, they are referred to the counsellor.
